My Neighbourhood (directed by Julia Bacha and Rebekah Wingert-Jabi) chronicles the story of Mohammed El Kurd, a Palestinian teenager whose family is forced to share a section of their East Jerusalem home with Israeli settlers. When Israeli activists arrive in his neighbourhood to join residents in protests against the settlements, Mohammed comes of age in the midst of unrelenting tension with his neighbours and unexpected cooperation with Israeli allies in his backyard.

After the film we’ll be joined by Suhad Babaa, the Director of Programming at Just Vision, an organization dedicated to increasing media coverage and support for Palestinian and Israeli civilians working to end the occupation and the conflict through unarmed means.
