A late addition to our schedule, but ridiculously cool: This Saturday, June 11 at 5:30 PM, ‘Disney Legend’ award-winning animator ANDREAS DEJA offers a special book discussion covering Walt Disney’s team of core animators, who he affectionately called his “Nine Old Men,”  known for creating Disney’s most famous works — Deja being an apprentice to the Nine Old Men himself. Take a journey with him as he discusses their techniques that include figure drawing, acting, story structure, and character animation. Revealing rare drawings and clips that delve into the Disney animation history, our featured guest will help give us first-hand insight as to what went into creating these timeless characters from some of Disney’s most memorable features; with a wink of inspiration for you to add a little magic into your next sketch or artwork.

This event is FREE and open to the public!
